About Us
Shades of Love Bermuda is the brainchild of our Founding Director, Jashun Bean. Having studied overseas for many years, Jashun has returned to the island with a unique perspective. Jashun loves Bermuda and wants to see it at it's best. However, he noticed a growing number of homes in disrepair and in need of a little TLC. This caused Jashun to reflect on the challenges faced by Bermudians (particularly seniors and those with lower-income) and inspired him to come up with a solution. ​
The concept of Shades of Love is simple: we are a group of volunteers who paint and declutter homes of deserving families. Through this action, we not only help to uplift our local communities, but also improve the facade of the island, which has a direct impact on the competitive tourism industry. Through partnering with local schools, we also foster a sense of service in our youth; as well as create an environment where they are taught important life skills and trades which can assist them in their career development.
